Design Background and Objective
The Crestron system is used in classrooms at Florida State University as a presentation monitor and controller, allowing presenters to do things like send inputs to the projectors within the classroom or controlling the lights in the room. The current design lacks consistency and clarity and has caused confusion for many professors. I was tasked with redesigning the system. My redesign will aim to restore clarity and standards while maintaining the functionality of the system.

The Process
The initial prototype covers the primary functions of the design. While making all of the buttons functional, I actually ran out of room for artboards in the Adobe XD application. Because of this, the final prototype focused less on the functionality of each button and instead honed in on the look and feel of the design.

The Result
Below is the final interactive prototype of the design I made. This prototype was created using Adobe XD. The look of the design changed a bit based off of feedback from professors, which is the target user for this Crestron system.
